Campai and Go Darcy both saluted at Aquis Park today, winning the first and second race on the card respectively.

Campai was lining up in the Sky Racing Class 1 over the 900 scamper.

Jumping away well, Campai used her inside draw to full advantage, keeping the inside running and lead as the field quickly made it's way to the home turn.

Kept together rounding the bend by Georgina Cartwright, Campai was given her head soon after straightening and quickly established a break on the field that should held through to the line.

It was the daughter of Sprit Of Boom second win from eleven starts and took her prizemoney to a fraction shy of $55K.

It was a much longer journey for Go Darcy who contested the 1700m Class 4 event.

Working in the initial stages to find the lead, Go Darcy was given a breather in front as the field worked through the middle stages of the race, but approaching the home turn, was being pressured by two runners forcing the pace.

In the run from home, the big grey son of Reliable Man would've been excused, given the run, of weakening out of contention, however, he dig in, fought of all challenges and recorded a brave win.
